The American Association for Justice (AAJ) is a national organization which aims to promote justice and fairness for injured individuals and safeguard their right to a trial by jury. AAJ strives to strengthen the civil justice system through education and advocacy, ensuring victims can hold responsible parties accountable for negligence or misconduct.
AAJ has Litigation Groups that are member-led groups comprised of lawyers from across the country, that focus on specific areas of litigation. The lawyers at Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. have historically been leaders of many of these groups.
- Partner Ira Sherman was the Chairman of the Cyanoacrylate Litigation Group
- Partner Joseph Cammarata was the Chairman of the Brain Injury Litigation Group
- Partner Allan M. Siegel was the Chairman of the Bus Litigation Group
At the AAJ’s Summer Convention in San Francisco, Partner Allan M. Siegel moved up the leadership chains of AAJ’s two largest litigation groups, the Brain Injury Litigation Group, and the Trucking Litigation Group. He was elected the Treasurer of the Brain Injury Litigation Group, and the Secretary of the Trucking Litigation Group.
Mr. Siegel also was invited to lecture to both groups in San Francisco. He presented on Identifying Traumatic Brain Injuries at the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Seminar, and on Trucking and Bus Cases in Urban Environments at the Trucking Litigation Seminar.
