Michael & Joy – Testimonial Video

Joy:
We are both bikers. We bike daily, at least at that time. And that particular day, I was going from a bike ride on 11th Street. Beautiful. I remember it was just a beautiful day. There weren’t many people out, and just suddenly my bike stopped. I remember hitting my head when I fell to the ground.
Ethan:
There was an incorrectly installed grate in the bike lane. That was a hazard for bikers.
Joy:
I was really afraid to go to sleep because I didn’t know if I would wake up or wake back up. At that time, I was doing 20 miles a day. I mean, I was really energetic and into it. Suddenly a life that was not a medical life became just that.
Ethan:
The main attorney we worked with here at the firm was Joe Cammarata. He was experienced and knowledgeable, and what he did was guide us through this. He would answer questions. He was responsive to both of our questions. He let us know what was going to happen before it happened, and then once it happened, he told us what happened and he just led us through the whole experience.
Joy:
I really see this is such an outstanding firm, one that listens and that’s really important. When you’re injured, they don’t just skirt over you. They honestly and sincerely listen, asking for our input on everything, leaving every decision, final decision up to us. I was just amazed at his ability to negotiate, feeling their humanness, caring human beings who, when they think that something has been done to you, that is unfair.
