									Richard:

I am a cyclist. Being on a bike makes me feel free. I enjoy riding here in DC in particular because there’s a lot of bike paths. July 21st, 2020, I was riding my bike here in DC on a main road going about 25 miles an hour, and there was a road hazard that I did not see, did not have time to react to, and it catapulted me off of my bike and landed me on my head. I fractured my skull, the left side of my skull. I had bleeding on the brain. I had nerve damage. I still, to this day, do not have full hearing in my left ear, and I have some paralysis on the left side of my face. There was another attorney in New York that referred me here to Alan Siegel, which was a godsend. Allan was always available, always communicative, kept me feel like I was very much in the loop throughout the whole process.

Allan is incredibly welcoming and I have established a friendship with him. When he calls, I immediately pick up the phone because I enjoy talking to him more broadly than simply about law. He has now become a part of my life, and I’m very grateful for that. A routine ride through Washington, DC turned into a life-altering moment for Richard when an unseen road hazard threw him from his bike at 25 mph. The result: a fractured skull, brain bleed, hearing loss, and facial nerve damage.
