The 2024 Washington D.C. Super Lawyers® annual list was recently released. Super Lawyers® is a lawyer rating service that identifies and rates outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers® has a patented process which is peer-influenced and research-driven, allowing it to select the top lawyers in each geographical region each year. Only 5% of the attorneys in any geographical region make the list.
For the 14th consecutive year, Partners Ira Sherman, Joseph Cammarata, and Allan M. Siegel have been named to the elite Super Lawyers® list. This is also the third consecutive year that Partner Stephen Ollar was selected as a Rising Star. To be eligible for inclusion as a Rising Star, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to five percent of the lawyers in a geographical region are named to the Super Lawyers® list, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list, making Stephen’s consecutive selections remarkable.
Partners Joseph Cammarata and Allan M. Siegel also both made the Washington, D.C. Top 100 list for the 6th consecutive year. Partners Cammarata and Siegel were 2 of only 8 personal injury lawyers to make the Top 100 list. Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. was one of only 2 personal injury law firms with two lawyers named to the Top 100 list, and the only personal injury firm with two lawyers in the Top 100 list and a lawyer on the Rising Star list.
