Melonie Mills’ Bio Video

I’m a senior claims manager of the pre-litigation department. People are my passion, and that’s why I love what I do. I was born in Jamaica. I transitioned to the US when I was five, so I did all my schooling in the US. I grew up in New Jersey.

I have an undergrad bachelor’s in legal studies, and I have dual master’s degrees: a master’s in legal studies with a specialty in healthcare recovery and a master’s in public health with a specialty in epidemiology and health and policy management.

What I do on a day-to-day basis is I handle the medical management of our clients’ cases, working collaboratively with the partners and the other associate attorneys. I handle negotiations and just advocate on behalf of the clients.

What stood out to me about this firm is that it’s definitely not lacking in business. When people reach out and we ask, “How did you hear about us?” they’re like, “Oh, we looked at your reviews and saw how well your clients and even attorneys’ peers hold you in high regard.” That’s what sets this firm apart.

You won’t see any commercials or anything, but they are giants within the community. I didn’t want to take my talent just anywhere. I wanted to be in an organization that was equally as passionate about securing justice on behalf of the client.
