The only award based solely on actual verdict and settlement achievement, the Litigator Awards is referred to as “the Oscars of Trial Law”. As such, it is perhaps the most rigorous and openly judged award rating system anywhere. The winners of this coveted award are set to be announced on major news networks, including CNN, ABC, MSNBC, and Fox News.
In order to be eligible for the award, nominees must have an exemplary quality-of-practice record (regulatory), and must have demonstrated extraordinary “litigation achievement” within one or more of 72 practice areas. Nominees must have at least one verified verdict or settlement of at least $1 million within the last five years, one or more verified verdicts or settlements of at least $5 million within the last 10 years, and one or more verified verdicts or settlements of at least $10 million within the last 20 years.
