  • National Brain Injury Awareness Month

Posted By Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. || 3-Mar-2017

March is National Brain Injury Awareness Month, and Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata, & Siegel, P.C. is proud to be a brain injury advocate helping to raise awareness about this complex condition. While shining a spotlight on this condition is part of our normal blogging and social media activity, this month we will place a special focus on brain injury related issues.

Helping brain injury victims is a particular passion for #CSCS as we have fought on behalf of thousands of our clients to win favorable results in their brain injury cases. Our years advocating on behalf of brain injury victims gives us a special passion and deep understanding of the particular issues and life-long struggles that many brain injury victims face.

Additionally, Partners Ira Sherman and Joseph Cammarata are founding members of the Brain Injury Association of D.C., Inc., which is a not-for-profit organization that advocates for brain injury victims through education, research, and prevention. Mr. Cammarata also drafted the “Athletic Concussion Protection Act of 2011,” which helps to project young athletes from the risks of brain injuries. Furthermore, this year Partner Joseph Cammarata will once again participate in Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill, which is hosted by the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA).

Throughout this coming month we encourage all of our blog readers and social media followers to help raise awareness for the issues involving brain injuries by visiting the BIAA website to learn how you can participate in this month’s activities. We also encourage you to share our posts, including this month’s designated hashtag #NotAloneInBrainInjury. Thank you for helping to support National Brain Injury Awareness Month!
