  • CSCS Publishes Fall 2015 Newsletter

Posted By Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. || 8-Sep-2015

Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. is proud to announce that our Fall 2015 Newsletter is now available online! At CSCS, our newsletters allow our team to stay connected to past and current clients, as well as others throughout the local and legal communities. It also gives us the opportunity to share important legal news and information about the latest goings-on at our firm.

Our Fall Newsletter begins with an introduction from Partner Ira Sherman explaining how busy our firm has been handling cases that have garnered local, national, and international attention - including a defamation lawsuit filed against Bill Cosby and our case against former Georgetown Rabbi Bernard Freundel. These two cases have received attention from across the globe.

Our newsletter also features an article recognizing Partner Joseph Cammarata becoming president of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan DC, a distinctive honor that falls in line with our firm’s continued commitment to helping victims of negligence. Additionally, we cover several important cases we have handled lately, such as the $4.8 million settlement Partners Cammarata and Allan M. Siegel secured on behalf of an injured motorcycle rider and a case in which Associate Matthew Tievsky won an appeal to have junk science thrown out in a Maryland auto accident case.

As we are currently representing a client who was injured while crossing a crosswalk in Washington, DC, our newsletter also features a helpful reminder of how pedestrians have the right of way. Over the years, our team has helped many injured pedestrians, and we feel this point was an important one to make in our newsletter.

You can view our newsletter here or contact our firm today to learn more about the services we provide!
