Steven Kaminski Wins $36,000 Judgment for Two Injured Women

The two women were in a rear-end car accident in August, 2007 and suffered strain injuries to their necks and backs. Additionally, one woman had post-traumatic headaches. Their cases were put into suit in July, 2008 and due to the quick trial docket in Prince George’s County District Court, the cases were tried to a verdict on December 1, 2008. Although the defense attorney attempted to argue that the women had minor injuries from a minor impact, Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel attorney Steven Kaminski argued that the injuries were anything but minor since they had a significant impact on each woman’s ability to work and made even small activities such as washing dishes more difficult. The Judge agreed taking the significant impact into account as he awarded one client $25,000.00 and the other client over $11,000.00.
